Basic and Detailed Engineering of South Pars Phase 19

The SOUTH PARS gas field is located in the Persian Gulf at 100 km off Iranian southern coast. National Iranian Oil Company is developing PHASE 19 of the field development program which will allow a gas production of 2 bn cubic feet per day.

The main components of the offshore part of project are the following:

A.     OFFSHORE PLATFORMS:

One existing wellhead platform (i.e. SPD2) consisting of six development wells, fluid gathering and testing facilities.

One new wellhead platform (i.e. SPD19B) consisting of five development wells, fluid gathering and testing facilities. This platform will be connected to a new production platform (SPD19A) via cladded infield pipeline where the condensed and formation water are separated.

Two new wellhead/production platforms (SPD19A and SPD19C) each equipped with minimum production facilities consisting of fluid gathering, chemical injection, well testing, condensed and formation water separation, oily water treatment and auxiliaries.

 

B.     SEALINES:

 

IOEC as a member of the main Consortium responsible for ECPCI execution of theis project has entered into a contract with JDD to obtain detailed engineering (design dossier revision and updating, detail design and procurement engineering) services for offshore platforms of SOUTH PARS PHASE 19 Project.

 

JDD is  responsible for the provision of all engineering and design services necessary to complete the Scope of Work. The main objectives of the Basic & Detail engineering phase of the Work are:

 

• To produce Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings and documents without holds points.

• To complete all equipment and material requisitions for enquiry and purchase.

• To review and approve vendor drawings and documents.
